Grief & Loss Support Circle
LifeVibe Grief & Loss Support Group
Welcome Script (5–7 min)

Begin with presence and warmth:
“Welcome, beautiful souls. I’m so deeply honored that each of you has chosen to be here today. This group was created to be a soft landing— a space where the hard things can be held, and the quiet strength within you can begin to stir again.”
Ground the space:
“We are not here to fix one another. We are here to witness, reflect, and hold space. In a world that rushes, we slow down. In a world that hides grief, we let it breathe.”
Optional spiritual grounding:
“Before we begin, I’d like to take a breath together. Close your eyes if you feel comfortable. Let’s inhale deeply… and exhale gently. Imagine roots beneath you. Grounding you. Imagine light above you. Guiding you. You are held.”

Review the Group Values + Boundaries (5 min)
“Before we dive in, I want to gently name the values that hold this space. These are our shared agreements—the sacred soil of our time together.”
Read aloud the highlights or display as a visual. You can offer the full agreement in a follow-up email or handout.)

Session Reflection Prompt (15–20 min)
“For our first group reflection, I invite you to consider this: What part of your grief is asking to be seen right now? or What part of you is ready to begin again?
We’ll take 5 minutes to journal quietly, and then anyone who feels moved to share can do so.”
Hold 5 minutes of silence. Then gently open the floor
“If anyone feels called to share what came up, you’re warmly invited. You’re also welcome to sit in silence. All parts of this process are welcome.”

Closing (5–7 min)
“As we close our circle for today, I want to honor the courage it took to show up. Grief can be isolating—but here, you are not alone. Your presence is a gift to this space. I hope you’ll carry a thread of that comfort with you into the days ahead.”
“Let’s end with an intention. You can whisper it silently or say it aloud: ‘May I meet myself gently.’”
“We’ll meet again [insert next session date/time]. I’ll send a follow-up email with a reflection prompt, the group values, and space to reach out if anything rises in the coming days.”
